This entire experience has been unforgettable! I have met 55 girls from all across Canada, toured Toronto for a week and have been given many amazing opportunities. A few years ago, I would have never imagined myself competing for the title of Miss Teenage canada and although I did not make top 20, I made so many amazing memories during pageant week. The pageant may be over, but my title rein isn’t. I will continue to volunteer within my community and raise awareness about my platform.
Without the help of my family, friends and community, I would have never been able to take on this journey. From day 1 my parents have always been my biggest supporters. If it weren’t for my mom taking me to multiple dress, hair, nail appointments, the countless trips to the mall to shop for pageant week, etc. none of this would have been possible. From setting up times to meet with potential sponsors, getting me to and home from Toronto and being a sponsor himself, my dad has always been right by my side. I have always been blessed to have both my parents with me throughout the journey and their continued support is what keeps me going and means the world to me. I was lucky enough to have them at preliminaries, the gala night, and the finals night!
I would like to say a huge thank you to my sponsors for helping me with some of the delegates costs. Thank you to Blue- Con Construction and E-Workplace for sponsoring me for both provincials and nationals and thank you to Sue Maes and Top Notch hair Designs for sponsoring me for nationals! Thank you to all my family, friends and neighbours for donating to Free The Children and helping me raise over $750 for this great organization.
I hope you all continue to follow me through my reining year and see what exciting things will happen next!
